  1. Which TTL / USB device did you end up getting? I would like to order something from Amazon to do this.

    1. I cant find the specific one i bought online but you can just take any (usb) ttl to rs232 converter, most of them are based on the prolific 2303 chips. Try to make sure it says it will work with windows 8.1 and higher, that way you'll know you dont get a chinese clone which have driver issues.

  2. So, I got my edge connector and my USB ttl. I'm using the c-128 to Raspberry Pi as wifi :) I'm having a problem though...it could be my wiring. I'm trying to connect to telnet bbs (using novaterm), but on my commodore, I am only seeing the block characters, that then stop...and then display a little more. No actual bbs characters. tcpser console says there is transmission though. Any chance you could send me a close up photo of your wiring to the edge connector? :)

    1. Did you set the Baudrate correctly on both sides? A photograph wont give you any more information than the schematics above.
